A Boston area native and recent transplant to LA, Joanie Pimentel is an experienced vocalist, instrumentalist, songwriter and studio recording artist.  Despite her classical training, Joanie spent much of her adult life focussing on more progressive styles such as soul, rock, funk and R&B.  In addition to voice, Joanie plays multiple instruments including cello, bass and drums.  In addition to performing, writing and recording, Joanie is an experienced vocal and instrumental music teacher.
